Summary of Arakan Students'Union 

 Arakan Students'Union is composed of nine students unions in Rakhine State.They are Students Union of Sittwe University, Students Union of Computer University (Sittwe),Students Union of Technology University (Sittwe),Students Union of Taungoke University, Students Union of GTC(Thandwe),Students Union of GTC Kyauk Phyu,Students Union of Kyauk Phyu Education College,Students Union of Mrauk-U Township and Students Union of Basic Education High School (Sittwe). The two people are elected from each Union.The Rakhine State Student Union represents all other student unions in Rakhine State, and two representatives from each union are selected to form the Central Arakan Students'Union.Each student union is involved in university political activities,the academic needs of the school, the unity among the student and more intramural sports(etc. dance club, music club, football club, online game and so on.).Arakan Students'Union initial policy adopted by Thandwe Conference.They are 1.Protection of Rakhine National interest

5.Unity of all Arakanese Students

6.Unity with allied students' unons.

Students of each university can apply for membership in the university student union which they are attending. The members of each university union are considered members of the Arakan Students' Union.
